ROOTED IN PURPOSE

Renee L. Eddy is not just a therapist, she’s a force of resilience, compassion, and transformation. With over 25 years of professional experience in mental health, addiction counseling, school-based social work, and community based care coordination, Renee brings a unique blend of clinical expertise and lived wisdom to every client she serves.

Educated at respected institutions such as The College of New Rochelle, Yeshiva University’s Wurzweiler School of Social Work, and NYU Silver School of Social Work, Renee’s academic foundation is as deep as her passion for people. Her certifications from Coach Ville (ICF-accredited) and the New York State Office of Addiction Services and Supports (OASAS) further demonstrate her commitment to meeting clients where they are emotionally, spiritually, and practically.

Renee has worked on the frontlines of healthcare and social services from hospitals and charter schools to senior care and substance use recovery centers. These experiences have shaped her approach: deeply human, trauma informed, and rooted in the belief that healing happens when people feel seen not just treated.

Her decision to open a private practice was a natural evolution. After years of serving diverse populations and navigating complex systems, Renee wanted to create a space where clients are not numbers on a chart, but people with stories, struggles, and strength. In her practice, you’ll find more than therapy, you’ll find empathy, insight, laughter, and the occasional tough love wrapped in compassion.

Whether she’s helping adolescents navigate identity, guiding adults through grief or trauma, or empowering families in crisis, Renee’s style is engaging, inviting, and unapologetically real. She has “come up from the trenches,” seen life from multiple angles, and uses those insights to connect authentically with her clients.

If you're looking for a therapist who gets it because she's lived it and who brings both clinical skill and soulful sincerity, Renee L. Eddy is the one to call.
